Roundthorn Industrial Estate sold for £6.8m

ROUNDTHORN Industrial Estate in Wythenshawe, Manchester, has been sold to London-based asset manager Columbus Capital for £6.85m.
The 210,000 sq ft, 21-unit estate sits within Manchester’s Airport City Enterprise Zone.
It was sold by agent DTZ, acting for the Greater Manchester Pension Fund. It put the site on the market for £7.4m in February.
DTZ said the deal reflected a net initial yield of 10.10%.
Associate director Simon Lowe said: “We are pleased with a good result on this sale. It is proof that there is still demand for good quality assets, despite the underlying market difficulties we are faced with.”
Columbus Capital was represented by Savills.
