Original Trof up for sale

ZECOL, the group behind the Trof chain, has put its Fallowfield bar on the market.
The move comes as Zecol extends its presence in Manchester city centre with a new bar called Gorilla at the former Green Room on Whitworth Street West.
It is also planning to open in what was Brannigan’s on Peter Street.
Zecol already runs The Deaf Institute off Oxford Road and Trof in the Northern Quarter, but the Fallowfield bar was the first when it launched around 10 years ago.
Christie + Co in Manchester is selling the freehold for £595,000 and says the business generates net turnover of around £550,000 a year.
Zecol founder Joel Wilkinson could not be reached for comment.
