Langtree invests £1m in Speke refurbs

DEVELOPER Langtree is furthering its investment in south Liverpool with a £1m refurbishment project at Speke Hall Industrial Estate and Sky Park International.
 
The project includes enhancements to the security, landscaping and construction of the buildings. The investment is part of a  plan to provide high-quality business space for SMEs in the city region.
 
The properties, acquired by Langtree lat yast year, total 370,000 sq ft across 87 units of between 500 and 30,000 sq ft, and comprise the largest single owned industrial estate in Liverpool.

Richard Ainscough of Newton-le-Willows-based Langtree said: “We take great pride in the quality and specification of the space that we have to offer, this investment ensures that the estates in Speke meet our high standards and provide the businesses of Liverpool the premises in which to flourish.”

Mark Appleton, construction director of Contract Services (R&R), the contractor said: “We have worked very closely with the team at Langtree to produce a scheme that gives both quality and value.  This is an exciting opportunity and we are looking forward to the challenge”

The refurbishment is due for completion in February 2014.
