Supreme Imports expands in Old Trafford

BATTERY distributor Supreme Imports has taken a two-year lease on 46,000 sq ft at the Mammoth warehouse in Trafford Park, Manchester.

The company already owns over 80,000 sq ft next door and has the option to expand into a further 75,000 sq ft at the 216,000 sq ft property during the next two years.

The quoting rental level for the unit is £2.50 per sq ft.

Andrew Beaumont of Supreme Imports said: “We are delighted to have found a unit of this size next door to the current site, which will help facilitate further growth in our consumer and industrial lighting division.”

Property agent WHR acted for Kruger Tissue which has the original lease on the property. The remaining 150,000 sq ft remains available at the site off Ashburton Road West in Trafford Park.

Mammoth, formerly known as Royce 220, presented the ideal opportunity for Supreme Imports as they are based next door and the space also gives them the flexibility to expand further, which is a positive sign of their intent.”
