Oliver’s Manchester restaurant to open next summer
JAMIE Oliver is set to open one of his Jamie’s Italian Restaurants in the ground floor of the former HSBC bank at the top of King Street is set to open next summer.
An application to serve alcohol at the unit at 100 King Street was recently posted at the unit and a spokesman for The Jamie Oliver Group has confirmed plans to open a Jamie’s Italian restaurant at the venue – set to be the 16th restaurant in the chain.
A spokesman for Oliver’s group of companies said that it was “at a very early stage with this restaurant”.
“If all goes to plan, we should open some time next summer but there’s usually a fair bit of work to be done before Jamie’s Italians are ready,” he added.
