Trio of gas maintenance contractors get 10-year deals

WARRINGTON-based Your Housing Group, one of the UK’s largest registered providers of affordable housing, has confirmed the appointment of three gas maintenance and repairs companies – each awarded a 10-year contract following a competitive tender process.
 
The three contractors are PH Jones, which has previously worked for Your Housing Group in the North West, and will cover  properties across Greater Manchester and Yorkshire; Liberty Gas Group, the contractor for properties in Cumbria, Lancashire and Staffordshire Moorlands, and Warmer Energy Services which will continue to provide gas services for customers in Warrington, Cheshire and Merseyside.
 
The contractors will provide gas safety checks, maintenance, repairs and reactive central heating installations for Your Housing Group customers. As part of the tender process, they were also assessed for their ability to deliver a high quality, value for money service, whilst offering a positive impact in the community.
