Ex-cop shop up for grabs

LIVERPOOL’S former Copperas Hill Police Station on the edge of the city centre has been put up for sale.

Lambert Smith Hampton’s Liverpool office has been appointed to sell the 8,328sq ft building on a 0.37 acre site near the University of Liverpool and Liverpool John Moores University campuses.

LSH is already anticipating interest from residential, student and mixed use developers.

LSH’s Liverpool divisional director, Agency & Investment, Robert Diggle, said: “The site is in an area which has seen considerable development in the student/residential markets given its proximity to the city centre and to both universities.  

“We are already receiving significant interest in the property particularly from developers.”
