Properties up for grabs

VACANT and tenanted residential properties, as well as commercial property and plots of development land goes under the hammer soon.

Property Consultancy Eddisons’ next auction takes place at the Premier Inn at Old Trafford on September 8.

Among the 30 lots due to go under the hammer are offices on Barton Road in Stretford with two tenanted flats above.

The property delivers an income of around £14,300 a year and has a guide price of £100,000 plus.

Commercial investment opportunities also include a shop and offices on Stockport Road in Longsight, Manchester. The fully let property includes retail premises occupied by a newsagent on the ground floor, with offices on the first and second floors. The property generates an annual income of £32,800 and is guided at £300,000 plus.

In Blackpool, a tenanted ground-floor retail unit with four one-bedroom flats, one of which is let, provides a rental income of £5,460. The property, on the corner of Cookson Street and Caunce Street, has a guide price of £50,000 plus.

Meanwhile, in Walton, Liverpool, a tenanted retail investment, currently let to a dry cleaning business until 2022 is guided at £70,000-£80,000. The property generates a rent of £9,000.
