The Botanist set for Knutsford launch
THE award-winning New World Trading Company has announced that The Botanist concept will open in Knutsford in early spring 2016, following the acquisition of Knutsford Wine Bar on King Street, creating 50 new jobs.
Serving botanical cocktails, and a vast selection of world and local beers/ales alongside deli and rotisserie inspired food, the Knutsford venue will be the UK’s eighth Botanist alongside its existing offerings in Manchester, Chester, Alderley Edge, Birmingham, Leeds, Newcastle and most recently Marlow in Buckinghamshire.
New World Trading Company managing director Chris Hill said “We are incredibly excited to bring another Botanist to Cheshire, we’ve had astounding success since the brand’s inception in Alderley Edge back in 2012. Knutsford just felt like the next natural home for The Botanist in Cheshire.
“Alongside our stripped-back, honest food menu and quality drinks offering with seating for up to 50 diners, The Botanist will also host live music with daily energetic evening gigs and lazy Sunday afternoon sessions with a real home-from-home atmosphere.”
