Property round up: Regional Property Solutions; ForWorks; WHR & more

A PRIVATE investor has appointed Regional Property Solutions, based in Altrincham, Greater Manchester, to manage another property it recently acquired for its nationwide investment portfolio.

The retail property at 25 High Street West, Glossop comprises 1,323sq ft on ground and first floors and is let on a lease until 2020 to Gregg’s bakery at annual rental of £26,000 per annum.

A NORTH West maintenance and construction firm has been appointed to a £100,000 contract for a health and social care charity.
 
ForViva group member ForWorks has been awarded a two year contract to deliver responsive repairs and void maintenance for Alternative Futures Group, a charity providing support services and accommodation for vulnerable people.

ForWorks – formerly known as City West Works – will take over the contract on January 11, 2016, which will cover 159 individual units across 14 sites in the North West.

The portfolio of properties covered by the contract includes independent hospitals, care homes and the charity’s offices in Merseyside, Cheshire, Greater Manchester and Lancashire.

DARIUS Baniabassian has joined the workplace consultancy team at Manchester based OBI Property. 

Baniabassian is a highly experienced interior designer and has worked with major architecture practices including Arif & Bintoak, one of largest architectural consultants in the UAE and Sheppard Robson.

He joins OBI from Fairhursts Design Group where he led a number of landmark workplace interiors projects for R&D institutions, and advanced technology companies such as the Stoller Biomarker Discovery Centre for the University of Manchester and Thales Group UK Headquarters in Reading.
