Women’s networking group expanding into the city

A FEMALE-only networking group which has rapidly expanded across Lancashire is launching its own franchise in Manchester this month.

Pink Link Ladies started life in Blackpool in 2009 and has expanded to popular monthly meetings in Lytham, Preston, Lancaster, Chorley and Bolton.

As a result of its success, founder Coral Horn decided to franchise the model.

“I have been asked for years about when the franchise is coming and how women could get involved,” she said. “It has taken us to this point to ensure we were fully prepared and equipped to franchise effectively by having all the resources and infrastructure in place.”

Pink Link Ladies itself “is not all about referrals but also confidence, improving networking skills and gaining knowledge,” added Horn. “We know the model works and have hundreds of members who attend local groups. Now, we want to impact a wider scope of women so they too can benefit from connecting locally.”

The launch, on June 30 from 10am to 12 noon in the RBS building in Spinningfields in the city centre, is supported by Natwest and is free.
