Networking chance at ski challenge

THE cold snap has sparked a flurry of entries for a North West charity ski event.

Mencap inaugural North West’s Ski Challenge has a full line-up of teams, and is now welcoming non-skiers to attend to make the most of the networking opportunities.

The event, which takes place from 6pm on next Thursday at Chill FactorE, Trafford Park, Manchester, will see teams from leading North West businesses including Cobbetts, Coutts and Pannone vying for the title.

Spectators can gain entry to the event for only £10 per person, which includes an apres-ski buffet and mulled wine in the Alpine Chilli’s Bar.

Mencap North West’s Ski Thursday Challenge is sponsored by Yorkshire Bank’s Corporate & Structured Finance team, and the charity is aiming to raise at least £10,000 to provide life-changing opportunities for children and adults with a learning disability.
