Excavation specialist acquires new base in Exeter

A provider of excavation, structural support and lifting solutions has announced the acquisition of a new 16-acre depot in Exeter.

The MGF expansion comes as a direct response to feedback provided by customers and to meet the growing demands of the business.

The new depot, which brings the total number of depots to 14, not only furthers MGF’s commitment to the South West region but brings additional support to its customers.

The investment sees MGF expand from its existing 1.2-acre site to 16 acres.

With increased capacity MGF will be able to increased product availability and provide comprehensive range of services to improved logistics.

Ronnie Ranson, operations director at MGF, said: “We are extremely excited about this milestone in the growth of MGF.

“We are confident that the new depot will not only benefit our organisation, but also make a positive impact on the local community and our customers. We look forward to opening the new depot when refurbishment work is complete in 2024.”
