Property consultancy appoints senior surveyor

Commercial building, project and sustainability consultancy Jones Hargreaves has hired a senior surveyor in Bristol.

Alex Ley has joined as senior surveyor, having previously worked at Colliers in Bristol.

His addition to the team comes as the business makes several senior hires in London and moves to larger premises in Leeds and London.

It follows on from a period of growth for Jones Hargreaves in 2023, during which the business rose from a team of 22 to 35 and opened new offices in Manchester, Bristol and Glasgow in direct response to demand for services including its in-house ESG expertise.

Matthew Jones, founding partner at Jones Hargreaves, said: “Last year we had planned to implement sustained growth and we’re delighted to have achieved this while working on a range of incredible projects with our clients. It was a momentous year for Jones Hargreaves and we are really proud of the whole team.

“I’d like to extend a warm welcome to our newest team members, who join us at an exciting time. As we move forward, we’ll continue to concentrate on delivering quality projects and hiring fantastic people to keep standards high in the commercial building sector.”

Jones Hargreaves offers services including project management and building, MEP, sustainability and ESG consultancy. The firm has a dedicated and adapting ESG and sustainability team able to scrutinise potential acquisitions, improve the management of existing portfolios and advise on improving energy and carbon performance.

Its clients include Columbia Threadneedle, London and Scottish Property, LXi REIT, Abrdn, Duchy of Lancaster, Fidelity, Elite Partners Capital and Mileway.
