Development firm acquires Bristol office building
Property firm Loxton Developments has acquired an office building in Bristol.
Consultants CBRE worked on the acquisition of 1300 Parkway North, a 30,250 square foot office building.
Situated on the well-established Parkway North business park, the office will be comprehensively refurbished to offer premium grade A air conditioned office space.
Richard Kidd, senior director in the office agency team at CBRE, who advised Loxton on the acquisition, said: “With the flight to quality in commercial property here in Bristol set to extend and expand this year, this acquisition represents an exciting high-quality addition to the north Bristol office market.
“The space is set across three floors and would be ideal either as a self-contained headquarters (the building was previously single let to the MOD) or can be let on a floor-by-floor basis. We encourage any business looking to relocate in the north Bristol area to get in touch”.
John Roberts, director at Loxton Developments, added: “We are hugely excited about the potential of 1300 Parkway North which will be rebranded York House. The comprehensive Cat A refurbishment will upgrade the building to meet the highest standards of office space with excellent ESG credentials and an outstanding parking ratio.
“The building is exceptionally well located a short walk from Bristol Parkway train station, is on the Metrobus route and also has good road access to both the M5 and M32. The refurbishment plans include a new double-height reception area, open-plan office floors, raised access floors with floor boxes, suspended ceilings with LED lighting, air conditioning, secure bike parking, and shower facilities.”
