Rugby star guest of honour at office opening
Rugby legend turned TV star Mike Tindall was guest of honour at the opening of a new office in Cheltenham.
Tindall met staff at Cooper Associates new offices in the Gloucestershire town.
Located in Honeybourne Place the new office increases Cooper Associates presence in the Gloucestershire area.
The move is part of the Somerset company’s growth strategy which will create several new job opportunities in Cheltenham.
The firm held an open evening which was hosted by ex-Gloucester and England player James Forrester and featured rugby legend Mike Tindall, plus Sean Lynn and Neve Jones from Gloucester-Hartpury.
Tindall gave a talk reflecting on the highs and lows of his rugby career and his recent spell in the jungle on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!
Samantha Jackson, Cooper Associates Group chief executive, said: “We’re incredibly excited to be present in Cheltenham, an important location as we further expand our business.
“This new office marks the start of a brilliant new step in our journey – I can’t wait to see what the future holds for Cooper Associates in Cheltenham and the surrounding areas. We look forward to welcoming new clients into our office and providing them with friendly, professional and fuss-free advice.”
Last autumn Cooper Associates announced a sponsorship of Gloucester Rugby, as the company became partners of both the men’s and Gloucester-Hartpury women’s teams.
The partnership came with the naming rights to The Cooper Associates 1873 Lounge, located within the Malvern Tyres Stand at Kingsholm.
