New CFO for Fintech
Taunton-based fintech Cardstream has appointed a new chief financial officer.
Gurinder Sumra has had an extensive career in the payments sector, including Elavon and FIS as the CFO of the European business divisions. His other senior finance leadership roles have equipped him with experience in large transactions, mergers and acquisitions and business transformation.
He said: “I wanted to join Cardstream, firstly, because of Adam Sharpe’s vision for the business. Secondly, our two tech stacks present a clear opportunity in the payments sector, which continues to evolve rapidly. Participation in the value chain is moving further away from traditional operators to merchants and their facilitators – and this is where Cardstream will win.”
