Bristol Airport on hunt for ground service equipment supplier
Bristol Airport is inviting expressions of interest for a ground service equipment supplier to form a new ground service handling equipment pooling arrangement.
This will involve the supply, maintenance, monitoring and organisation of key operational equipment used for the turnaround of aircraft, operating on a shared use basis.
“We seek a forward thinking, innovative and environmentally aware organisation that will help shape the solution that will provide wide reaching benefits for the Airport and our strategic partners,” the airport said.
The procurement will run to the following timetable with suitable suppliers being able to express an interest and submit a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) through its e-tendering system In-Tend by 24th January 2025.
Successful organisations at the Pre-Qualification (PQQ) stage will be invited to tender for the services. The anticipated timescales for the procurement are:
Expressions of interest/PQQs Deadline – 24th January 2025
PQQ Shortlisted – 7th February 2025
Invitation to Tenders issued to Shortlist – 14th February 2025
Tender Deadline – 28th March 2025
Evaluation Period (including interviews if required) – 28th March 2025 – 30th April 2025
Intention to Award – W/C 19th May 2025
Award – 30th June 2025
Contract Start – 1st April 2026
Contract Term – 5 Years +
