Six by Nico opening in Bristol with chippie tea-inspired menu

Scottish restaurant group Six by Nico, the experiential dining experience, is set to bring its six course tasting menu to Bristol.
The first menu, The Chippie, is inspired by Simeone’s personal family heritage.
The Chippie features dishes like Chips, Cheese & Curry Sauce with Potato Terrine, Curry Emulsion, Aged Parmesan Espuma, Monkfish Scampi with Dill Emulsion, Girbiche Peas Beurre Blanc, Steak Pie with Aged Beef Tartare, Oyster Emulsion, Beer & Onion Consommé.
It will be completed by Deep Fried Mars Bar with Chocolate Delice, Cocoa Nib and an Irn Bru Sorbet. Vegetarian options are also available.
Simeone said: “The Chippie was originally created to bring a sense a taste of nostalgia, with each dish a nod to moments we have all experienced growing up, enjoying the classics; Fish and Chips, Sausage Suppers. The Chippie is a personally important menu for me as it marks the beginning of my journey with Six by Nico and acts as an ode to my family. For Bristol, I have tweaked the dishes to bring even more nostalgia and to hopefully, spark conversation and moments around the table. I am really excited and feel humbled to be sharing this experience with the people of Bristol and afar, I really cannot wait.”
Six by Nico will open in the former home of Carluccio’s and the Castle Fine Art stores in Quakers Friars, Cabot Circus on February 17. The menu is £44 per person.
