Engineering consultancy expands office network with Bath launch

Civil and structural engineering consultancy Craddys has expanded its footprint with the opening of an office in Bath.
The office at Northgate House in the city will be home to three members of staff initially with a view to quickly expand, the company said.
Craddys has been established in Bristol for more than 45 years, moving into its current office in Ham Green 10 years ago.
The firm has had an Exeter office for the last 13 years, and more recently opened offices in Wakefield and Cardiff.
With a team of 75 staff, Craddys said that Bath seemed the next logical location to help grow the business further, opening up new opportunities for clients and for recruitment.
Colin Davidson, managing director of Craddys, said: “Situated in the city centre, this expansion builds on our established client relationships while reinforcing our position as the South-West’s largest independently-owned Civil and Structural engineering consultancy.
“Craddys have a strong history of delivering prestigious heritage refurbishment projects, including the Palace of Westminster, St. Pancras Station, King’s Cross gasholders and the Royal Botanical Gardens in Edinburgh. The UNESCO World Heritage city of Bath provides an ideal setting to extend this expertise.
“With a robust pipeline of heritage projects secured alongside significant developments like the Bath Fire Station redevelopment, we anticipate a dynamic future in this historic city.”
