Flights to southern Ireland take off once more from Bristol

Regional operator Emerald Airlines is restarting its regular services between the West country and southern Ireland.

The operator of Aer Lingus Regional services has recommenced its regular flights between Bristol and Cork.

The service will operate six times per week, daily, except on Saturday.

The airline is already operating flights between Bristol-Dublin, seven days a week.

Ciarán Smith, head of commercial at Emerald Airlines said: “As we commence our flights from Bristol to Cork, we are pleased to offer increased connectivity and convenient timings to our customers.

“We are confident that this highly-anticipated route will be well-received by both business and leisure travellers, and we look forward to continuing to collaborate with our partners in Bristol Airport and Cork Airport, ensuring the success of this service.”

Rupert Lawrie, commercial director at Bristol Airport said: “We are delighted to see the return of the Bristol to Cork flight.
