Gloucestershire hire firm invests £1.5m in new machinery

A machine hire firm in Gloucestershire has invested £1.5m in its plant machinery.

WHC Hire, which has depots in Tewkesbury and Cheltenham, has invested in 62 brand new excavators.

The brand new 6T excavators Kubota’s will be rolling out across all WHC Hire depots throughout 2023.

Managing director James Clutterbuck said: “Since the birth of WHC, we have always made it our priority to offer our clients the highest-performing equipment on the market.

“To ensure so, I personally conduct a 210-point assessment on machines from a range of manufacturers focusing on the following key areas.

“Serviceability, excavator structure and build quality, cab layout and environment, machine operation and safety systems.

“After a full assessment of the Kubota KX060-5, I found it to be by far the stand-out machine across all aspects of our inspection.  I truly believe our customers will benefit from the performance and quality offered from this machine. Yes, it’s a change of colour for us. But we are always keeping our customer’s needs at the heart of our decision-making.”
