Event manager appointed at fast-growing venue

An Exeter venue has appointed a dedicated events and functions manager as the private hire venue grows from strength to strength.

Quayside Distillery, located on Exeter’s historic Quay has appointed of Gemma Peaks as their new events and functions manager.

Gemma has joined the team to help manage the increase in the venue.

With her extensive background in event planning and management, Gemma brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role.

She will also play a role in hosting a number of events currently lined up at the venue, including Exeter Cocktail Week and Call my Bluff, hosted in collaboration with St Austell Wines and a number of live music nights.

These follow a string of successful, sell-out events in collaboration with West Country Dim Sum and a Mother’s Day event hosted by Barbecue Thirteen which also proved incredibly popular.

George Nightingale, owner of Quayside Distillery, said: “I’m thrilled to have Gemma on board as our new Events Manager. Her experience and creativity will be invaluable in helping us take our events to the next level and provide our customers with unforgettable experiences.”

With Gemma at the helm of Quayside Distillery’s events, customers can expect to see a range of exciting, innovative and themed evenings that showcase the company’s venue and their premium, home-distilled spirits.
