Work draws to a close on Gloucester scheme

Construction is drawing to a close at a new Bellway housing development in the Gloucester village of Brockworth.

The final properties available to reserve at Millbrook Grove include four three-bedroom Tailor and two four-bedroom Weaver style homes.

Bellway is building 99 houses for private sale and 36 affordable homes for local people through rent or shared ownership, alongside public open space and a children’s play area, at the site off Mill Lane.

Millbrook Grove is part of the Perrybrook neighbourhood, which is delivering 1,500 homes in Brockworth, along with new sports facilities, shops, public spaces, employment land, extra-care housing, and a community hub.

Rhodri Davies, sales manager for Bellway Wales, said: “Construction is progressing well on site and the strong demand for homes at Millbrook Grove shows no sign of easing up.

“Millbrook Grove has been a very popular development and the wide selection of homes we are providing, which includes a mix of detached, semi-detached and terraced properties ranging from two to five bedrooms, has appealed to a wide range of purchasers.

“More than 70 per cent of the private buyers have moved into their new homes and it is great to see a new and vibrant community taking shape.”
