Developer’s sales manager secures spot in the Top 100 Influential Women in Construction

Amy Cartwright

A sales manager at a  developer has earned a place in the Top 100 Influential Women in Construction list.

Amy Cartwright, field sales manager at Persimmon Homes Cornwall & West Devon, received the recognition from the National Builders Federation.

This adds to her previous achievements, including winning the Sales Advisor of the Year award in 2018 and the Manager of the Year award in 2022, as voted by her peers.

Over her nine years with the housebuilder, she progressed from a part-time sales advisor to a full-time position, eventually qualifying as a field sales manager.

In her role, she contributes to selling homes across the region, from Helston to Bideford, assisting various individuals, from first-time buyers to families seeking more space and older generations looking to downsize.

Cartwright said: “I am proud to have been awarded this accolade by the National Builders Federation, and it has been all the easier working in a job I love. I have a huge passion for sales and customer care and I take a lot of pride in doing a good job for the business and, particularly, our customers. Persimmon provides an incredible environment to grow through the business with fantastic training, which I took advantage of last year, and it’s great to put that into practice by helping people buy their dream homes in the areas they live in.

Persimmon Homes Cornwall & West Devon interim managing director Andy Hill said: “In Amy, we have a fantastic part of the team and fully deserves to be recognised like this. She shows remarkable dedication and unwavering commitment to helping others within our business and her efforts have not only contributed significantly to our sales team’s success but have also created a positive and supportive environment for others.

“Amy’s willingness to go above and beyond, offering guidance, support and assistance to other colleagues, reflects in her outstanding work ethic and admirable dedication to fostering a collaborative and harmonious workplace. She embodies the spirit of teamwork that we value in our organisation and we are very lucky to have her.”
