Barclays appoint new head of mid-corporate team for South West
Barclays bank has appointed a new man to head up their mid-corporate team in the South West.
James Jordan, who previously worked for HSBC, has joined the bank.
Jordan spent two decades at HSBC in a number of senior roles in the corporate side of the business.
He recently led the partnerships team within the strategy and innovation division for HSBC Commercial Banking.
As part of his role he worked closely with a range of different financial technology businesses to develop new customer propositions.
In his new position Jordan will be responsible for the continued growth of Barclays mid-corporate, building on existing and new client relationships, operating between £6.5m and £50m turnover.
He will also be responsible for managing a team of 18 staff based at offices located in Bristol, Exeter, and Truro.
