Pub operator and brewer appoints group managing director to board

Liberation Group, the pub operator and brewer in the South of England and the Channel Islands, has announced the addition of Jayson Perfect, group managing director of Pubs, to its board.

Jayson Perfect, who joined Liberation Group in 2017, initially as managing director of UK-managed pubs, has since expanded his role to include the Channel Islands and the tenanted division of the business.

During this period, he played a role in the growth of Butcombe Pubs & Inns, which received three Publican Awards in 2022, including Best Managed Pub Co, Best Accommodation Operator, and Best Premium Food Offer.

The business has experienced expansion, acquiring 21 pubs from Wadworth in 2020 and merging with Cirrus Inns in December 2022. Consequently, Butcombe Pubs & Inns has become a leading premium accommodation provider in the southern part of England.
