Developer to open Birmingham office

Developer Henry Boot is to open a Birmingham office to serve its Midlands clients as it looks to build on the opportunities it sees within the region.
The Yorkshire group, which is listed on the stock market, is to move into Bank House in the city centre.
The move will put its team nearer large development projects currently underway, such as the Imperial Tobacco regeneration site in Nottingham, Golden Gate Park in Leicester and The Oaks, Daventry, a major retail and leisure project.
Vivienne Clements, director of Henry Boot Developments, said: “Opening an office in Birmingham was a logical step for us given the continued growth of our business across the country, and some very exciting opportunities within the Midlands.
“Birmingham and the wider region will benefit from significant investment and regeneration driven by infrastructure improvements, most notably HS2. Establishing an office in the city will ensure that we remain an active participant in those conversations during the coming months and years.”
Birmingham will be the developer’s sixth office, with it already having a presence in Sheffield, Bristol, Glasgow, London and Manchester.
