Demand quickly fills expanded flexible office space

The demand for serviced office has continued in Birmingham city centre with Alpha Works filling a third floor within a month of launching the space.

Alpha Works is based in Alpha Tower and the 28-storey building has benefitted from £15m investment in refurbishment by its owner Commercial Estates Group (CEG).

It originally created a collaborative working environment for the city’s starts ups and entrepreneurs over two floors in spring 2017.

It recently expanded down onto the 20th floor and it was fully tenanted in weeks.

Theresa White, head of workspace at CEG said: “Alpha Works has proved a huge success. The city’s start up scene is booming and leading the way in innovation.

“The diversity of community members is a huge contributor to the success of the environment and we encourage members to treat Alpha Works as their home away from home.”
