West Midlands Business Masters: ‘The awards recognise commitment and dedication’

The UK’s largest independent cider maker was picked as the winner of the Large Business category at TheBusinessDesk.com’s prestigious West Midlands Business Masters Awards earlier this year.

Aston Manor Cider fought off competition from Pertemps and St Modwen to take home the accolade.

Jamie Weall, head of compliance at Aston Manor, said: “It was really exciting for everyone at Aston Manor to be named the Large Business of the Year at the West Midlands Business Masters earlier in 2019.

“The award recognised the commitment and dedication of each department within our business. Our teams are incredibly hard-working and we strive to deliver fantastic products for our customers, as well as making significant and innovative advances with our sustainability programme.

“Our success at award ceremonies over the last 12 months has created an enormous determination to make 2020 our best year to date.”

The company is no stranger to The Business Masters Awards, Aston Manor was also a winner in 2017.

The independent cider-maker has spent more than £30m in the last five years in developing the business – and its successes saw it win the Innovation Award at the Business Masters in June 2017.
