£5m development creates Brummie-named boutique offices

A new £5m development at 102 Colmore Row has opened, delivering offices and co-working spaces for business across all industries.

The Boutique Workplace Co has renovated the 23,500 sq ft site into 43 offices and can hold a capacity of 430 workers.

The dog-friendly space has offices that can accommodate SMEs from 2 to 100 employees, that are named after ‘famous Brummies’ like Ozzy Osbourne, Lenny Henry and Thomas Shelby.

There is also membership lounge access that is available at £70pcm giving access to unlimited coffee and high-speed WiFi, plus access to 10 other lounges in London.

Features include private meeting rooms, breakout spaces, an on-site gym, event spaces and bike storage.

Commercial manager for The Boutique Workplace Co, Daniel McLeod said: “Opening our first Birmingham location has certainly been a learning curve for myself and the team.

“I truly believe we have created a very unique product in the flexible office market in Birmingham and we have been very fortunate that we have welcomed some fantastic clients into the building over the first 2 months and long may it continue.

“We are trying to create an environment where businesses can flourish but also bring a community feel to the building, where all businesses engage with each other across a range of collaborative break out areas.”
