LAW firm Shakespeares has given a further indication of its growth ambitions by acquiring the specialist social housing team at Birmingham-based Gorrara Haden Solicitors.
Paola Gorrara, Geraldine Haden, Jenny Francis and Penny Norouzy will join Shakespeares from September 30 and will be based at the firm’s city centre office on Temple Street.
Shakespeares said the Gorrara Haden team had a reputation as a top tier firm for social housing advice and would considerably improve its service offering.
The new recruits will work alongside solicitors at Shakespeares existing social housing team.
Andrew Dudley, partner and head of the social housing team at Shakespeares, said: “There is no doubt that Paola, Geraldine, Jenny and Penny will bring extremely valuable experience to the team when they join us later this month.
“I’m looking forward to welcoming them and to supporting the team to ensure their clients continue to receive the excellent personal service they have come to expect.”
Ms Gorrara said: “In Shakespeares we believe that we have found a firm that is genuinely committed to delivering excellence, offering outstanding value to clients, and which is deeply committed to serving the social housing sector.
“We are excited about being able to draw on the support of a larger firm to deliver more of the things which our clients tell us they would like. Our aim is to continue to provide a personal, hands-on service while developing additional services and finding new ways to add value to our clients.”
