Another expansion for importer and more lettings news

ONE of the largest importers and wholesalers of bearings throughout the UK has expanded its Black Country base.
Midland Bearings has taken on an additional 9,567 sq ft at The Pensnett Estate, in Kingswinford, which is owned and managed by London and Cambridge Properties.
It has grown from 10 employees and 18,000 sq ft to a 26-strong workforce and more than 60,000 sq ft since it moved to the estate in 1999. Rent and lease length are undisclosed.
In other lettings news, flexible office provider Orega has attracted five professional services occupiers to its Colmore Plaza centre in Birmingham.
Four of the group have taken space in the 7,500 sq ft recently completed second phase. The latest deals total 41 workstations.
Among the new occupants are law firm Simon Burn Solicitors, Arista Insurance, which has taken 12 workstations, and recruitment company PSD which is moving from its existing offices in Colmore Row.
Twelve new jobs have been created on Segro’s Kings Norton Business Centre in south Birmingham after automotive firm Andrew Page opened its 58th UK branch.
The company has signed a 10-year lease on a 4,065 sq ft unit which will service garages and workshops in the local area with car parts.
Also taking space at KNBC is property firm Johnson Consultancy which has signed a new three-year lease.
The company, which specialises in out of town retail and retail development, has leased a 1,938 sq ft unit in Crown Road.
Finally, an organisation which helps the NHS improve service quality and efficiency has consolidated its own operation at the University of Warwick Science Park.
The NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement has taken over a 20,000 sq ft building, previously occupied by Sun Microsystems, on a six-year lease.
It was previously based in Coventry House, on the University of Warwick campus.
