Braemar Estates appointed on The Hive

BRAEMAR Estates has been appointed as property management agent for the The Hive development in Birmingham city centre’s Masshouse area.

The 14-storey building contains 167 residential units, from studios to two bedrooms, and forms the latest phase of the Masshouse masterplan development by property developer Nikal .

Ian Eaton, senior property manager at Hale-based Braemar Estates, said: “We are very pleased with this latest appointment which follows on from our original instruction on Blocks H&I and completes the island phase of the Masshouse master plan.

“The standard of design and construction finishes is a credit to the area development initiative created by Birmingham City Council and taken through to development by Manchester-based Nikal Ltd.”

Chris O’Reilly, onsite building manager for Braemar Estates, said: “The location of the scheme is very popular with young residents. It is just a few hundred yards from the Bullring and the city centre and next door to Aston University’s main campus. The Masshouse scheme will also benefit from the new Hotel La Tour, which is under construction next door and the City Park which is now being landscaped immediately to the south.”

Braemar Estates is also managing agent for the Beetham Tower at Holloway Circus in Birmingham.
