Kings Chambers moves into Embassy House

LEGAL set Kings Chambers has expanded into the Midlands with a new Birmingham city centre office.

It has acquired accommodation on the ground floor of the newly refurbished Embassy House in Church Street, in a deal brokered by DTZ, on behalf of AXA Real Estate Investment Managers, and Savills, acting on behalf of Kings Chambers.

Kings has established offices in Manchester and Leeds, having opened in Manchester in 1946 and Leeds in 1998.

It has acquired a self-contained ground floor suite in Embassy House which underwent a £2m refurbishment earlier this year, including major works to the reception and communal areas.

Matthew Long, associate director at DTZ, said: “AXA’s continued investment, together with the recently completed Church Street Square, has reaffirmed Embassy House’s position as a high profile business address in the heart of Birmingham’s CBD .”

Debra Andrés, chambers director at Kings Chambers, said: “This is an exciting expansion for chambers and Embassy House represented a strong option.”

Jones Lang LaSalle is joint letting agent on Embassy House.
