NC Creative strengthens with new appointments

SOLIHULL marcomms agency, NC Creative Group, has expanded its team with two new appointments. The recruitment follows a step-up in client demand after new account wins.

Former Birmingham Post & Mail journalist Sarah Morris has been recruited as PR Account Manager and will also be taking on a business development role.

Joining her at the agency is Jade Thompson, 18, who has been appointed as an apprentice through a scheme run in conjunction with Solihull College.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the agency has attracted new business from European steel products firm Ovako, while it has also seen a significant increase in the uptake of its social media services.

Managing Director Åsa Walker said: “Due to increased demand from both our longstanding client base and several positive new developments over the past year, we’ve decided the time is right to further expand our team.

“Sarah has a strong network of contacts both regionally and beyond.  Her previous track record within PR and direct experience working for regional press, combined with her dynamic personality, made her a great fit for the business as we enter a new phase in the company’s operations.

“Jade’s appointment came about through the company’s belief in backing young, local people and giving them opportunities. Throughout the apprenticeship selection process, in collaboration with Solihull College, Jade stood out as a young talent, showing enthusiasm and a work-hard ethic. It’s a big leap going from college straight into a professional working environment, but she has settled in extremely well and is showing great promise for the future.”

The group operates regionally, nationally and internationally and has clients in the automotive, manufacturing, property, professional services, retail, transport and tourism sectors.
