Global Radio broadcasts move to Eleven Brindleyplace

BROADCASTER Global Radio will move to new offices at Argent’s Eleven Brindleyplace scheme in Birmingham next Spring.
The company, which operates the Heart and Capital radio stations in the West Midlands, will take the complete eighth floor (8,555 sq ft) on a ten year lease to accommodate both offices and broadcast studios.
Anita Wright, regional managing director of Global, said: “It provides us with a workspace that’s fit for the future and keeps our stations right in the heart of the West Midlands.”
James Heather, a partner at Argent, said: “The deal with Global Radio adds yet another string to our bow and demonstrates just how flexible Eleven Brindleyplace really is, with a diverse range of occupiers operating in a range of sectors.
“We are confident that Global Radio will enjoy immediate benefits from its move to Eleven Brindleyplace. Alongside the advantage of bringing together the whole team on one floor – which always has a positive impact on morale and productivity – there are also the added commercial benefits of the functionality and energy efficiency that can be offered from a modern, new-build building such as this.”
Global Radio will be joining existing occupiers including Capita Symonds, Friend LLP, Robert Walters, the West Midlands headquarters of the Institute of Directors, Hettle Andrews, Argent and Colliers International at Eleven Brindleyplace.
Argent was advised on the letting by GVA and GBR Phoenix Beard.
