Investment management firm appoints valuation advisory head

PROPERTY investment management firm Jones Lang LaSalle has appointed Rob Robinson (left) as head of its valuation advisory team in Birmingham.
Mr Robinson has over 15 years of commercial property experience with six years at Jones Lang LaSalle, leading the firm’s specialist valuation team.
In addition, Gareth Morgan, who works in the valuation advisory team, has been promoted to the role of senior surveyor.
Mr Morgan has worked for the firm for over three years and has experience of valuing asset classes, primarily for loan security purposes.  He is also the deputy chairman of networking organisation Birmingham Future.
Mr Robinsonsaid: “I am looking forward to the opportunities and challenges my new role presents, and working with Stuart Smith and the rest of the team, helping to grow our valuation business in Birmingham, which most recently was boosted by the addition of new licensed leisure, healthcare and student accommodation teams.”

Trio of promotions at Morgan Sindall

Jodie Orme (left) is promoted from graduate engineer to engineer, Steve Impey moves up from senior design engineer to principal engineer and Tom Mansfield steps up from building services engineer to senior engineer. John Jenkins, Morgan Sindall Professional Services managing director, said all three had made significant contributions to the company. The consultancy provides services to the science and technology, tunnelling, environment and waste, nuclear, transport, temporary works and public sectors.

Vinden Partnership appoints new consultant

Bruno Quiligotti of Vinden PartnershipCONSTRUCTION and project management firm the Vinden Partnership has appointed Bruno Quiligotti as senior consultant of corporate solutions. Mr Quiligotti (left), former founder and managing director of Bosco Construction, has more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry and will be working alongside the corporate recovery and insolvency advisory team. Traditionally a quantity and building surveying firm, Midlands-based Vinden Partnership has diversified the business over recent years. Its regional director Chris Duffill said: “In today’s challenging marketplace, the demand for corporate recovery and insolvency advice has increased dramatically. This has resulted in a need to grow the team internally to ensure we can continue to provide the help and advice required by our clients.”
