Financial Appointments: RSM Tenon, Clydesdale Bank, Barclays, HSBC
Tigers fan roars into RSM Tenon
RSM TENON has continued with its strategic growth in the West Midlands with the appointment of Bev Marsh as corporate recovery director, based at the firm’s New Street offices. Ms Marsh, left, is wideley respected in the corporate recovery field and her 25-year career includes spells with two of the ‘big four’ advisory firms as well as setting up and running smaller specialist operations. Ms Marsh, a keen fan of Leicester Tigers rugby club, is the latest in a series of high-profile hires by RSM Tenon in the West Midlands, among them her former colleague at BDO, corporate finance dealmaker Steve Thornhill. She said: “We are currently moving away from formal insolvencies, concentrating on advisory roles, carrying out group reconstructions with the full support of the funders, instead of winding businesses up. It is pleasing to be able to make a more advisory role and truly perform a restructuring role.”
