Brammer enjoys growth with a clutch of new contracts

INDUSTRIAL supplies firm Brammer has continued to see strong sales growth after securing a string of lucrative new contracts.

The company, whose UK distribution centre is in Wolverhampton, supplies products to firms at 300 locations in 15 different countries,

The six pan-European account wins are worth £53m, while three UK contracts have a value of £14m over the next three years.

“We are pleased to report that the sales trends outlined in our interim management statement of May 17 have continued. Both key account growth and base business growth remain strong and at similar levels to those mentioned on May 17,” said the company.

In May Brammer reported that sales and profits in the first four months of 2011 were ahead of expectations, buoyed by improving market conditions and gains in market share.

Today the firm is holding an investor seminar at its UK National Distribution Centre in Wolverhampton. Chief executive Ian Fraser and members of senior management will make a series of presentations which will also be available on the firm’s website.
