JV prepares for work on new industrial site

Prime Point 14

A new joint venture between Trebor Developments and Seddon Developments to develop industrial units in Staffordshire has got off to a tricky start.

The two firms have created the JV to support the new 11.7-acre Prime Point 14 site, near Stone, named because of its close proximity to Junction 14 of the M6.

Ahead of the main contract works, the JV has been tasked with relocating protected newts and badgers from the local environment.

The partnership has appointed FCPR Environment and Design Ltd to undertake the works, working in collaboration with Natural England.

One the ecological works have been completed, which is likely to be the end of August, work on the main site infrastructure will begin.

Bob Tattrie, managing partner of Trebor Developments, said: “We are no stranger to dealing with sensitive sites requiring ecology works to be undertaken. We have moved newts, badgers, bats and other wildlife before on sites and Prime Point 14 will be equally carefully managed.”

The development partners have appointed the Birmingham offices of BNP Paribas (Andrew Cosnett and Richard James-Moore) and Savills (Ranjit Gill and Katie Aitchison) as joint marketing agents for Prime Point 14.
