Canadian mobile phone company, Bridge Wireless, has agreed a 10-year lease at a Birmingham industrial unit.

Harris Lamb has let the 4,387 sq ft warehouse in Saltley on behalf of Avon Capital Estates 1. The deal is based on a guide rent of £26,500 per annum.

The unit, Mainstream 47, Devon Street, will become the telecom firm’s Midlands headquarters.

Sara Elwell, of Harris Lamb’s Agency team, said: “We’re extremely pleased with this deal – it is rare for a tenant to enter directly into a ten-year lease, but the unit ticked all the boxes for Bridge Wireless.

“Its central location and convenient access links to the motorway network make it an ideal location to serve the whole of the country, and the business park as a whole is a very popular location for companies with national coverage – neighbouring occupiers include Edmundson Electrical, Greggs and Rexel.

“Add to that the size and condition of the unit, and Bridge Wireless was confident that it was exactly what they needed as their Midlands hub. Having considerable experience of the customer facing culture at ACE, we were able to introduce Bridge Wireless to our client; following which a swift deal was agreed that suited both parties.”
