Airline to create 120 jobs at Birmingham Airport

Jet2.com is to create 120 jobs at Birmingham Airport as it has decided to bring all of its ramp-handling services in-house.

The airline, which is planning to more than double its capacity next summer, is now looking to recruit for the positions at Birmingham.

It is enjoying continued growth for its Jet2.com and Jet2holidays brands at the airport.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays said: “We have enjoyed huge success since starting operations from Birmingham Airport earlier this year, meaning that next summer will be a much bigger and more ambitious flights and holidays programme.
