Law firm invests in office refurbishment

Talbots office in Kidderminter

Law firm Talbots has invested £150,000 in refurbishing its Kidderminster office.

The firm can date its history in the building to 1908, when the first of four generations of Talbot solicitors moved in.

Today Talbots has 26 staff in the listed building in Church Street.

Mary Mocklow, chief executive of Talbots Law, said: “We are passionate about delivering legal services differently and have a desire to grow our business by putting the client first and delivering more joined up services across all departments.

“The recent investment in our Kidderminster office reflects that as we look to grow our reputation as one of Worcestershire’s leading law firms.”

The firm, which has seven offices, is targeting fees of £12m this year amd has the ambition of growing more than 15% in Worcestershire.

The work has seen specialists repair cornices, coving, lime plastering and stonework, with traditional features retained.

Following the refurbishment, the office has more meeting space, a new reception while the technology in the building has been upgraded.
