Equipment leasing firm expands to sustain growth

A WARWICKSHIRE equipment leasing company is expanding after seeing a 44% growth in the business.
Kennet Equipment Leasing, based in Coleshill, is set to create a number of senior account manager and sales support roles to sustain the growth.
The company, founded in 1990, employs 40 people. Latest half year results show business is up 44% compared with the same period last year.
Chairman Steven Swift said: “I am delighted with the company’s performance, which is a sign that businesses are, despite the economic downturn, realising that in order to ride out the recession, they will have to invest and consider the bigger picture.
“Our success has been down to the continued efforts of the sales force to grow existing business, target new areas and having the ability to source funding from £1,000 to half a million for many business types. This has opened the door to more market segments and a greater number of customers.”
The firm arranges leases for all types of equipment for a range of business purposes. Equipment spans lawnmowers to combine harvesters, Land Rovers, key cutting machines and communication systems.
