12 jobs to be created as builders merchant expands
A dozen jobs are to be created after a builders’ merchant revealed plans to open a second site in Birmingham this summer.
BUILT/ launches with its first builders’ warehouse in Aston last year and will open a 66,000 sq ft warehouse at Kingpin Industrial Park in the coming months.
Nick Thomas, managing director of BUILT/, said: “Following the success of our first builders’ warehouse in Aston, we are delighted to be expanding across the city with the upcoming launch of our Tyseley site – offering the wider Birmingham trade a simple and reliable way to source their supplies.”
The Tyseley unit is being refitted ahead of the planned opening in June.
BUILT/ stocks a wide range of staple building materials, electrical equipment and plumbing and heating supplies, as well as kitchen and bathroom products, painting and decorating items, and tools, fixings and equipment.
