Brewer checks in to business park as plans for new hotel secured

Brewing and pub retailing business Marston’s has secured planning permission for a 30-bedroom hotel just off the Blackheath Lane Roundabout at Beacon Business Park in Stafford.

The 0.57-acre site is near The Knot and Plough public house, which also belongs to the Marston’s group.

Marstons said the hotel will provide affordable accommodation both for visitors to Beacon Business Park and the wider Staffordshire area.

The hotel will add to the existing facilities at Beacon Business Park, which include a new Costa Coffee Drive Thru, due to open later in 2018, and The Knot and Plough public house.

All are situated on Beacon Business Park’s newest 50-acre development zone.
