Caterer’s new home offers food for thought and more lettings news

REDDITCH restaurant and catering business Moons has taken an extra building on the Enfield Industrial Estate in the Worcestershire town.

The company says it is investing £250,000 into business expansion which has seen it take an 8,604 sq ft warehouse over three years at £21,500 a year.

The unit is close to its existing premises on the industrial estate where it will be used as a storage facility.

Moons Restaurants employs 240 people, operates four restaurants and was advised agent John Truslove.

In other lettings news, JP McDougall & Co, trading as ICI Dulux Decorator Centres, has taken 2,920 sq ft on a new 10-year lease at TradeCentral trade park in Wolverhampton.

The new store will be the 17th Dulux Decorator Centre in the West Midlands and makes the park fully let.

The company will join existing tenants Crown Decorator Centres, GSF Car Parts and Halfords Auto Centre, which took 6,000 sq ft earlier this year.

Colliers International acted on behalf of the landlord Suma Developments.

Finally, Lodge Tyre has taken the 6,059 sq ft, Unit 29 at the Crossgate Road Industrial Estate, in Redditch.

It is the Birmingham-based firm’s 11th office around the region, secured for £2 per sq ft on a three-year lease.

Lodge Tyre supplies tyres to cars, vans and plant vehicles and employs 110 people. It was advised by John Truslove.
