A Coventry trampoline park will “return and reopen” after a devastating fire destroyed its premises.

Red Kangaroo in Exhall only launched in April but expects to be shut for the next six months as it recovers from the blaze.

Up to 70 firefighters and a specialist aerial support appliance from Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service fought the blaze early on Thursday morning.

No-one was injured, with investigators now looking at what caused the fire.

“We will return and reopen but unfortunately at this point this is likely to be at least six months’ time,” said a Red Kangaroo spokesperson.

“All customers with future bookings will be contacted via email regarding their bookings and refunds.

“The support received from the emergency services and the local community has been fantastic and we are very thankful for the actions and goodwill already received.”
