Property firm invests £2m in high spec industrial units

Buccleuch Property has invested more than £2m in purchasing and refurbishing two high spec industrial units at Bescot Point in Walsall.

Following the purchase of the property in August 2017, the commercial property specialist has added to the existing facilities to provide prime space for businesses looking to relocate within the area.

Spanning 52,142 sq ft in total, the units have been overclad and modernised, ready for new tenants.

Currently available to rent, Unit 2 covers 28,169 sq ft, and comprises two storey office and 15,690 sq ft of industrial space. Benefiting from 60 car parking spaces, the facility has four level access roller shutter loading doors, a yard and 5.6m eaves.

Encompassing 23,973 sq ft, Unit 1 has already been let to Zero 1 Exhibitions, which signed a 15-year lease on the property.

Paul Jarvis, asset management director at Buccleuch Property, said: “There is a growing demand for high quality, well located industrial buildings across the West Midlands and further afield, and we believe the properties at Bescot Point provide just that.

“Through the refurbishment of the site and investment in quality infrastructure, we are able to provide organisations with a premium space in which to grow their business and we continue to actively seek new investment projects of this nature across the UK.”
